This paper is about the authenticity and reliability of survey based measures of poverty. Given the inaccuracies exposed in World Bank's 1980's surveying and development data there is a need to develop alternative estimates of world poverty according to survey means not suffering from World Bank “adjustments”. Thus
this paper estimates poverty according to three different definitions of survey means.
