On November 19, 20, and 21 there was a three-day workshop on “Covering Resource Wealth”. The aim of the workshop was to help reporters strengthen their understanding of the effect that oil wealth has on development and the importance of corporate governance.

The workshop was co-organized by the Public Finance Monitoring Center in Baku. Speakers included Inglab Ahmedov, Joseph E. Stiglitz, Columbia University adjunct professor Jenik Radon and freelance journalist Andrew Finkel. About 15 reporters attended the event.
