What Progress on International Financial Reform?

This paper gives an overview of the emerging international financial architecture and what it brings with regard to achieving international financial stability and provision of adequate capital flows to developing countries.

It also discusses the insufficient representation of developing countries in key financial institutions and what can be done to overcome that deficit. The study is a follow up to an EGDI-study released in 1999 on this subject by the same authors entitled The Poorest Countries and the Emerging International Financial Architecture (EGDI 1999:4).
