Session Abstract: The International Commission for the Reform of International Corporate Taxation (ICRICT) brought bold ideas to the forefront during the IMF/World Bank in Washington. As global tax reforms have hit a pivotal moment, this session tackled pressing challenges – from inequality to corporate accountability – and explored pathways for fair multilateral solutions, including the latest on the global taxation agenda. From wealth disparities to the need of taxing the super-rich, the panellists and interventions reinforced the urgent need for systemic reforms to tackle the intertwined crises of development, climate, and inequality.
