Maximus (Max) Saenz is a Predoctoral Research Fellow at IPD. Working with Professors Joseph Stiglitz, Eric Verhoogen, and Bilge Erten, they support research on industrial policy in the United States. Max holds a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in Economics and International Affairs. Prior to joining IPD, Max worked at The People Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School and J-PAL North America. Max also has research interests in poverty alleviation, public policy, and improving public service delivery.
