The Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy organized a four day course on economics and finance journalism.

Speakers included Joseph Stiglitz; Dasho Pema Wandga, Secretary of Ministry of Labour and Human Resources; Dasho Lam Dorji, Secretary of Ministry of Finance; and Dr. Hamid Rashid, Senior Advisor for Macroeconomic Policy in Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the UN.
